The 1st Annual Turquoise, Black, and White Gala — was an elegant evening celebrating five years of Hesperus’ impact in Native American and Alaska Native communities.

It was set at the iconic Heard Museum in Phoenix, that brought together tribal leaders, corporate partners, and community changemakers to support our mission of education, empowerment, and innovation

All proceeds from the gala will go to support the expansion of our youth and veteran programming in 2026, including the addition of key staff to grow our reach across the Southwest and beyond.

Hesperus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Arizona, committed to uplifting Native American and Alaska Native communities through education, employment, and technology. Our programs include technology training for youth and veterans, entrepreneurship support, and partnerships with tribal schools. While our work is national in scope, our deepest impact is in the Southwestern United States.

We are proudly supported by Fortune 500 companies including General Motors, Verizon, and Comcast, as well as smaller corporations across the tech, defense, and natural resource sectors. Our mission is furthered in collaboration with organizations like the University of New Mexico and Wounded Warrior Project.

Proceeds from the gala will directly support:

  • Expanding our Girls Who Game program in partnership with Dell Technologies, Microsoft, and Intel
  • Launching new digital literacy and esports clubs in tribal communities
  • Hiring a Youth Services Manager to oversee and grow our youth programming in technology, cybersecurity, and gaming
